I'm looking to receive recommendations for good server companies. I am looking for 1 u servers with the following specs:

-dual xeon processors 2.8ghz+
-2gb ram
-dual scsi hard drives
-at least raid 1 controller

I really like the offerings of Dell but was wondering if anyone provides equivlent quality for a lower price.

Thanks.

Yes, he isn't looking for a dedicated server fusion. Yours doesn't exactly meet the specifications anyway. He wants Dual Xeons servers with 2 GB of Ram. Shehzada, what are you going to be using these for? You really want some nice servers. I recommend rackmounts etc. http://rackmountsetc.com. They have affordable servers that are really high quality.

Rackmount Micro is known for making some killer machines at good prices, but a word to the wise, Dual Xeon in a 1U is not going to go very far in rack density. Even if you skipped a U inbetween each of the servers, you'd still need some MONSTER cooling to keep from having them burn up on you.

JustADollar you're absolutely correct. I'm going on the presumption that he wont have many servers. Dual Xeon 1U servers do get pretty hot after awhile. Though if you order from rackmounts I'm almost positive they could put them in a larger case then a 1U. Brian, the owner of rackmounts, is very flexible. You can have servers made custom to your specifications. Though if you ever do end up buying multiple 1U Dual Xeon servers listen to what JustADollar said, it will save you ALOT of trouble.
