How to make money online ?

I've started to do some research and where this has helped me understand the different ways to make money online, I want to know what, in your experience, works the best. I suppose the best, in this case, can be defined as the Highest Return on Investment. I have included some loose questions that may help us:

Q/ What is the Most Efficient way to start a business and make money online?

This is a research on other Ppls ideas regarding what do they think . It will also be helpful to others who see this post . Yes, We do own over 200 websites & invest thousands of dollars . But its our Company & not personally me . I hope this clears up your point .

Hmm, seems to me like plenty of peeps make money online. I make very good money for what i do, freelance web and graphic design, and its very easy to get into, and doesnt require a lot, if any, overheard.
For example, i use Photoshop 7 and Macromedia Dreamweaver MX 2004 and Flash MX 204. But, the same affect could be found using The GIMP and notepad. I think that the internet is still ripe for business.

In theory yes, but to make a living is hard. And you're right, the internet is still ripe for business.

Hosting = Dime a dozen
Development Companies / Individuals = Dime a dozen
Template Sites = Dime a dozen
e-Stores = Dime a dozen

To compete with these and make a living, you can't set out to make money, but you have to be more than willing to sacrifice and pay money out. There's billions of websites, but how many of those make their own site? How many have an internal development team? How many get friends to? How many already have a long term relationship with a company or high profile freelancer? How many talk the same language / languages as you? How many are actually willing to pay?

Minus those and you're left with a handful (compared to the billions) willing to pay good money. Like I said if you set out to make money you probably won't. You have to do it for the love of what you do, put in great amounts of time and money, then you will succeed.

That's why I said from the start that I do not believe she works in a company wich owns over 1000 sites, making millions of profit. (She told me that on MSN, have the chatlogs on request)

Sorry for accusing you, but a professional like you should know how to make a better survey then that. Also I asked you for an investment, and you first want me to get this site moving; that it will make 10,000/month, and then you will think again about the investment.
As you might know, this is just a big scam. I will not make so much money for you, I could just wait a bit, or go to the bank for a loan and make that money for myself. And if you are the professional who you say you are, you can even achive that 10,000/month in half the time I need for it... so why don't you work on it for yourself, and why don't you post anymore? Active posting is requirement nr. 1 for a forum to make some money.

From what i know Edora, You offered , or told Her that you have gotten a Forum so High that they were earning 10K, therefor to put your money where your mouth is she Insisted for you to prove that you can really do what you are saying. I dont understand why you are still going on about this when this was over a week old. If you want to discuss this with her, go ahead and Do it via PM, this is no way relevant.

All that was done here, is an attempt to make a Motivating Thread where people can share idea's but it turned out to be a bashing thread.

She does have many websites ,and she does work for a reputable company.

I hope this clear's this up once and for all.

You guys really want to make money? Don’t fall for these scams. I just play poker online. Even if you aren’t that good at poker the sign up bonuses for these places are so ridiculous that its hard not to walk away ahead. That’s just my opinion though. If you do decide to go the online poker/casino route I have put together some bonuses I could find. For the links the bonus codes are built in and don’t require you to do anything extra.
